Cummings, John  Railway Motor Buses and Bus Services in the British Isles 1902-1933 Vol.1, OPC, 1978, pp136 with numerous illustrations and maps.  Large Format Hb.  VG in a VG dust wrapper.  Slight wear to the top edge of the dust wrapper.  A comprehensive history of railway bus operations during the period when the railway companies directly operated bus services. Volume One considers the services operated by Irish Railways, the Scottish pre-grouping companies, some English pre-grouping companies, the LMS and the LNER.  8.50

Larkin, Edgar  An Illustrated History of British Railway Workshops: Locomotive, carriage and wagon building from 1825 to the present day, OPC, 2006, pp184.  This is the original OPC edition, rather than the later HRP reprint.  Large Format.  Glazed boards with a dust wrapper.  Fine in a VG dust wrapper.  A unique record of the works at nationalisation including plans of all the main locomotive works where they have not been previously published.  6.95

Marsden, Colin  25 Years of Railway Research, OPC, 1989, pp112.  Large Format Hb.  Fine in a VG+ dust wrapper.  Remains of an old price sticker on the front dust wrapper.  The British Rail Research Division was set up in Derby in 1964.  This book provides an illustrated history of the Research Division's first 25 years.  9.50

Simpson, Bill  The Brill Tramway including the Railway from Aylesbury to Verney Junction, OPC, 1985, pp128.  Large Format Hb.  VG+/VG+.  A comprehensive illustrated history of this rural byway which was eventually absorbed into the Metropolitan Railway and then London Transport before closing in 1935. 16.50

Wignall C J  Complete British Railways Maps and Gazetteer 1830-1981, OPC, 1st edition 1983, pp172.  Large Format Hb.  VG in a VG dust wrapper.  Locates all lines and stations built since the opening of the Stockton and Darlington in 1825. Slight foxing to the page edges.  The red spine of the dust wrapper is faded, and there is slight wear to the dust wrapper at the head of the spine.  12.50
